INAF is leader of Adaptive Optics development and Optical Turbulence research. INAF also have major ongoin projects based on the above topics, including top-class AO instruments for the nex generation ELT-class telescopes (FLAO, SOUL, ERIS, MAVIS, MORFEO) and OT/atmospheric prediction serviced for LBT and VLT telescopes
