Supporto allo sviluppo del telescopio NEOSTEL di OHB-ITALIA. È il prototipo del concetto di telescopio ad ampio campo visivo Fly-Eye. Il Near Earth Object Survey Telescope (NEOSTEL) è un progetto del segmento NEO del programma SSA dell'ESA e si concentrerà in particolare sul rilevamento e il tracciamento di Near Earth Object (NEO). Rappresenterà il sensore ottico centrale della rete di osservazione ottica a terra NEO-SSA. INAF fornisce supporto per "Processo di calibrazione ottica, definizione dell'infrastruttura di osservazione e aspetti astronomici del telescopio Fly-Eye".
Support for the development of the NEOSTEL Telescope by OHB-ITALIA. It is the prototype of the Fly-Eye wide field of view telescope concept. The Near Earth Object Survey Telescope (NEOSTEL) is a project of the NEO segment of the ESA’s SSA programme and will in particular focus on the survey and tracking of Near Earth Objects (NEOs). It will represent the core optical sensor of the NEO-SSA ground based optical observation network. INAF provides support for “Optical Calibration Process, Observation Infrastructure Definition and Astronomical Aspects of Fly-Eye telescope”.
